Can it get much better than this?

Hi everyone,
Sorry again for being slack, we have been a bit preoccupied.

Anyway we have a computer in our hotel room so I will post more photos tomorrow sometime.

Love you everyone back home, I wish I could be there on Tuesday. Please send my love to Jeff, Rachel and Kylie. I hope you are all okay.

Love Lauren & Kristian
xoxo

Swiss-Belhotel + the end of Hoi An

Welcome drinks... which were super yummy

As the title implies, honestly can it get much better than this? Today we arrived at our second hotel in the lovely Hoi An greater district (well it was only 4km from Hoi An ancient town so it wasn't exactly far), but the beauty never dissipates. While the Swiss Bel-hotel was located on the beachfront, it was in no way in less pretty than when we were staying in the Ancient town. A general rule of thumb when hotel hopping is that, when you receive welcome drinks (regardless of what type of drink it was) you know its going to be a good stay.

Our room before we unloaded all our stuff

Part of the pool

The pool was 150m long.... I couldn't fit it all in one photo

Kristian had this for dinner one night.... I would love for people to guess what this is... please leave a comment :)

Kristian and Amin had a few two many FREE rum shots

Train to Hue

The view from the train was amazing!

Hue - City

Romance hotel - roof top pool

View from our room

One of the nicest hotel rooms we have had

DMZ Tour

Vinh Moc Tunnels

The tunnels were pitch black inside so I mostly took photos of the guy infront of me

A total of 17 babies were born in this tiny room

Kristian was pretty squished... I feel sorry for the 6ft people

Proof I went in the tunnels.... Also I was the shortest in the group and I didn't have to bob down once. It pays off to be short

It was hot..... can you tell???

Dakrong Bridge - Ho Chi Minh Trail

View from the bridge

It is blurry but its the best one out of the bunch

Khe Sanh Combat Base/Battlefield

Khe Sanh was such an eerie place. It sent chills down my spine.

Khe Sanh is now a coffee plantation. You could never tell this was once a bloody battlefield.

I accidentally changed the setting on my camera so the rest of the photos came out dark. I was devastated!
