Hi everyone,
Sorry again for not posting recently.
Anyway here are some photos of the past week or so.
We are now in Hanoi, tomorrow is our last full day in Vietnam which is actually pretty sad. We both adore this place and will miss it very much, considering it has been our home for the past 4.5 weeks.
I have posted up to our second day in Hanoi. Tomorrow I will post photos of Halong Bay and our last couple of days in Hanoi. I could have done it tonight but I took a million or so photos of Halong Bay so I would actually be here all night.
I hope everyone is okay at home, I was thinking of you all today.
Love Lauren & Kristian

Hue - The Forbidden City
Our little green machine. We drove this around Hue and it was awesome.
The enterence to the Forbidden City
So we were walking through the forbidden city and I was complaining because it was hot and I was pretty bored.... But then I saw an elephant walk past and everything was fine :)
We were so suprised there were elephants in the city
We couldn't ride the elephant until 2pm but we had to leave for our train so we paid to feed them and pat them. It was such an awesome experience. Though I wanted to give the handler a beatdown because he grabbed my arm.
The elephant stole my last bit of bamboo so we had to buy one more bit so Kristian could have a go
Train ride from Hue to Hanoi
In short we shared a 4 berth cabin with a family of 4 Vietnamese locals.
It was an interesting ride, the kids just adored us.
The little girl took my camera and took a heap of photos of her dad
She was such a devil
This little boy and I were Kung Fu Fighting down the hallway of our carriage
This blanket kept the kids occupied for atleast 3 hours
Hanoi - Part one
Hoan Kiem Lake
Asia Pearl Hotel - one of the nicest rooms/hotels we have had
I have been reluctant to let Kristian take photos of me but I have finally given in
Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
5 minutes after the previous photo was taken it poured down! It was some of the craziest weather I have ever seen. Ofcourse we didn't have an umbrella or poncho.....
Being soaking wet was surprisingly nice considering it was so hot.
